STILL has launched a new Li-ion batteryIntralogistics specialists STILL is expanding its battery portfolio with a new lithium-ion battery which it says covers most common application profiles in the sector.
STILL says the new Li-ion battery was developed in response to some customers not utilising the full potential of their batteries. The new battery is being marketed as “smart instead of maximum”.
It is designed to allow users to receive the energy system which best suits their application profile and only pay for what is needed rather than capacity which is surplus to requirements.
“We realised that many of our customers are not using the full capacity of our lithium-ion batteries,” explains Sascha Jordan, senior director strategy & solution portfolio STILL.
“That’s why a battery was developed that combines all the advantages of lithium-ion technology with attractive value for money, tailored to market and customer needs.”
Gesa Kaatz, new energy advisor at STILL, adds: “With our energy systems, we focus on intelligent energy supply rather than sheer size and performance”.
The new Li-ion battery is manufactured and installed on machinery at STILL’s Hamburg site.
