RUD Australia, which provides lifting and lashing solutions to the materials handling sector, has celebrated its 40th anniversary, having grown from a small operation in a Brisbane garage to having nine branches across and New Zealand.

The Brisbane head office of RUD Australia now boasts a 6,000 sqm manufacturing facility with the company employing more than 90 people.

RUD Australia services the defence, infrastructure, mining and quarry, power generation and engineering industries.

RUD Group was founded in Germany in 1875 by the Rieger family which still has an active interest in the business. The Australian subsidiary was founded by the Nuttall family.
