This week Linde Material Handling UK announced it has started to roll out its “greenprint” which lays out how the company intends to make the business more sustainable across the UK (see story).

And its plan is not all grand gestures, but instead comprised of initiatives large and small which cover the gamut from energy-efficient LED lighting in its warehouses to incentive programs for customers transitioning to electric vehicles.

It is refreshing to see an actual plan for how a major producer intends to achieve its sustainability targets instead of the many announcements we see stating carbon zero aspirations but with no roadmap to getting there.
