Introducing AI Motion, the latest advancement in the Forklift Anti-Collision Series. This cutting-edge digital safety device utilizes artificial intelligence (AI) and a Motion Controller speed control system, enabling forklifts to decelerate in warning zones and stop automatically when pedestrians enter a danger zone.

AI Motion effectively prevents collisions by addressing common issues such as blind spots, distracted pedestrians, and inattentive operators—key factors in forklift accidents. Acting as the "eyes" of the forklift, it distinguishes people from objects using AI deep learning technology, automatically issuing commands to slow down or stop.

Fully Customizable Settings

The AI camera detects distances from 0.5 to 20 meters and features three alert zones: green (safe), yellow (caution), and red (danger). Each zone’s dimensions can be tailored at your fingertips to fit specific environments. When a person is detected, the speed control system reduces acceleration according to predefined parameters.

By default setting, once a pedestrian is detected in the yellow zone, acceleration is reduced by 40% and maintained until the area is clear. In the red zone, the forklift automatically stops until the danger is resolved. Each zone's acceleration settings can be independently configured from 0% to 100%, allowing for specific adjustments based on the operational context.

Smart AI Algorithm

The AI algorithm can detect either pedestrians or forklifts, depending on your preference, and can recognize individuals even with partial views as such an arm or foot. With ongoing development, the AI will receive periodic upgrades to enhance its capabilities.

Motion Controller

The Motion Controller is an integral part of the AI Motion system, designed to optimize the speed and safety of forklift operations. It intelligently adjusts the vehicle's acceleration and deceleration based on real-time data from the AI system, ensuring smooth and safe interactions with pedestrians and obstacles.

The applications of the Motion Controller are extensive, supporting up to four signal types, including AI signals, ultra-wideband, ultrasonic, or any other tailored to your needs. For instance, to detect objects at the rear of the forklift, you can select the ultrasonic signal to stop the forklift before a collision. Alternatively, if you want to protect pedestrians in areas not covered by the AI camera, ultra-wideband is ideal, as it can penetrate thick walls.

Operational Safety Without Sacrificing Productivity

The primary advantage of AI Motion is that when a pedestrian is detected in the yellow zone, the forklift operator can continue working at a reduced speed, ensuring high operational safety without compromising productivity. This system is essential for maintaining efficient workflows while prioritizing the safety of all personnel on-site.  AI Motion’s intelligent recognition capabilities and extensive customization options enhance safety across various environments, offering unmatched configurability in the industry.
