Palfinger's new regional headquarters includes a training centrePalfinger has opened new North American headquarters as it chases its goal of becoming the market leader in the crane and lifting solutions sector.
The Austrian company has invested USD4 million in its new headquarters in Schaumburg, Illinois’ second-largest economic location outside Chicago.
Palfinger chief executive Andreas Klauser says: “Led by our strong focus on our customers, we will use the next five years to significantly increase our North American marketshare in all product segments and show what we are capable of.”
Palfinger, which has been operating in North America since 1989, now has 15 locations and a mobile service fleet of more than 100 vehicles.
In 2022, the United States, Canada and Mexico markets made a significant contribution to the company's record revenue of EUR2.23 billion (USD2.41 billion), with the the company’s truck-mounted forklift the top revenue driver.
The company’s new headquarters includes a training centre with two state-of-the-art classrooms with space for up to 90 people and a modern demonstration area for product operation and service training.
