We often hear about the increasing popularity of electric equipment, spurred on by environmental concerns and the need to address noise levels in urban areas.
This week, that push scales new heights - pardon the pun - as we report on Riwal's conversion of a 43 m boom lift to electric power.
The conversion is a new activity for the Dutch equipment hirer, and we can expect to see many more petrol and diesel units switched over to battery power.
We will no doubt see more examples of the switch from internal combustion to electrics ...
