It's been a dramatic week on the global economic front, with the Italian crisis taking its toll on international bourses, oil prices continuing to rise and the persistent uncertainty over Brexit.
But despite all of that, the OECD has released an upbeat set of projections in its latest assessment of the global economy, anticipating growth of 3.8% for this year, rising to 3.9% next year.
However, the Paris-based organisation warns that risks are looming and growth is increasingly reliant on support from governments.
For materials handling, this means more hoping for the best, but planning for the worst.
