A fresh new year is upon us, and many find that it's a good time to reflect on the year just completed and take stock of all one's achievements.
The materials handling industry has lots to remember - strong growth, a plethora of new products and innovations, and improvements that boost safety and efficiency and reduce our environmental impact. But more than that, many in the industry can be proud of their contributions to the community - whether that was raising funds for a variety of charitable causes or rallying to support those affected by natural disasters. In times of crisis, it is reassuring to see the big names in the industry contributing in so many significant ways.
As we look to the year ahead and the opportunities it brings, let's hope that we are not called upon to help out, but at the same time, we can rest assured that there's plenty of goodwill and positive spirit to ensure that help will be at hand when it's needed.
All the very best to our readers, advertisers and collaborators in the year ahead.
