Optimism continues with the second-largest forklift maker, KION, reporting good results.
KION's positive financial report comes on the back of similar results last week from third-placed Jungheinrich.
Looking ahead, KION expects a slower rate of global market growth this year, with stronger orders in Europe and North America, but slow-downs in Russia and Brazil. The group believes that China will stabilise over the course of the year, although conditions will remain challenging.
So, overall, things are looking up.
