You never can tell. That's what makes the business world so interesting. One minute, it looks like the mega-merger between Terex and Konecranes is chugging along. Then we hear that Chinese industrial heavyweight Zoomlion has its eye on Terex, and the process comes to a halt.
As we report this week, Terex is now looking at a USD3.3 billion offer from Zoomlion which must be very, very tempting. It will be interesting to see how this plays out - and what happens to Konecranes in the process.
