We are currently researching a story on less-than-reputable equipment exporters who take customers' money and then fail to deliver the goods. And when you're talking about forklifts, there are obviously big sums of money involved.
There are a few lessons here. Firstly, if it seems too good to be true, then it's probably not. You get what you pay for - if you're lucky. Secondly, there's a lot to be said for buying from reputable dealers, especially when they're local.
