The focus of Genkinger at this year’s LogiMAT is on customised handling solutions”, explains Richard Ludwig, Managing Director. The product range will be further expanded and is tailored for the usage in many branches of industry and trade.
Visitors to the Genkinger stand will see an 18 ton and a 3 ton die change truck, a heavy-duty reach truck for 5 ton coils, a compact stand-on reach truck with double operator controls. So the user can stand length or crosswise when handling Euro pallets. A 15 ton industrial tractor is designed to tow agricultural vehicles during their assembly process. A packaging device for pianos and an AGV will be in operation on the stand. This year’s product premiere will be an electric transporter.
Operation die changer
When in use, the 3 t tool changer positions itself on a press in such a way that the load holder and fixing aid are located directly above a coupling bar that is attached to the press. Slowly lowering, the exchange unit is adjusted on the press and then fixed. Another lowering brings the roller bar into the appropriate horizontal position. The tool is then rolled out of the press onto the tool changing device and secured there. At the same time, the stacker is decoupled from the press.
Operation piano packaging
The mobile piano packing aid tilts the instrument so that it can be packed effortlessly. For this purpose, Genkinger developed a special load pick-up: To ensure that the valuable load is not damaged, only two-hand operation releases the sensitive tipping function for safety reasons. Visitors to the exhibition can see this device and the piano in a live demo.
Premiere electric transporter
"Again and again, our customers asked if we also offer smaller universal electric tow tractors," explains Ludwig. “We will do this from now on and round off our portfolio with it. These are nimble vehicles for flexible use indoors and outdoors. At LogiMAT we are presenting the prototype of a small series,” announces Richard Ludwig.
