Antwerp XL, the award-winning event dedicated to breakbulk, heavy lift and project cargo, will return live and in-person on 7 - 9 December 2021 at the Antwerp Expo, Antwerp, Belgium.

The international show, which attracts VIP delegates, exhibitors, and expert speakers from all around the world, has been delayed since Spring 2020 due to the global COVID-19 pandemic. Now, due to international progress in vaccination rollout and the subsequent lifting of restrictions, the show has been finally fixed to 7 - 9 December 2021.

Sophie McKimm, Event Manager for AntwerpXL, says, "After a year of uncertainty, we're thrilled to bring back the most important show in breakbulk, heavy lift and project cargo. The industry has been weathering an unprecedented storm over the last 18 months and we need to all get our heads together, regroup and share ideas of how we can move forward prosperously into a post-COVID world.

"I'm incredibly proud of the work we did to keep the industry communicating despite having to delay our main show, with our virtual Summer of Breakbulk series of events, but nothing beats a live, face-to-face show.

"This year we have an amazing conference programme that we're just in the process of finalising, we'll be celebrating the next generation of breakbulk professionals with AntwerpXL's 40 Under 40, and visitors will get an overview of all the latest tech in our Innovation Start-Up Zone. That's on top of all our normal networking, breakfasts, dinners and awards. It's going to be amazing, bring on December!"
