Crown Lift Trucks has received a prestigious international design award, the "red dot", for the second consecutive year for its new WF 3000 series stacker.

The stacker's centre-mounted X10 control handle won a "red dot" last year.

Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen, one of the oldest and most highly reputed design institutions in Europe, annually awards "red dots" to superior designs.

Professor Peter Zec, initiator of the "red dot" awards, said companies were increasingly focused on sophisticated designs to meet the demands of their customers and maintain market position. "Design standards have risen constantly, not only in the premium price segment, but also in the mainstream market," he said.
