Clark Material Handling has appointed Liftmasters, a Darr Equipment company, as an authorised distributor in the southwest Texas market. Liftmasters' market area includes the counties of Val Verde to Cameron, and Refugio to Webb - and parts in between. The major metro areas consist of San Antonio, Corpus Christi and the Valley. "Liftmasters is a full-service warehouse solutions dealer who promotes a positive work environment based on teamwork between their employees, customers, and suppliers. They have a very clear focus on delivering premiere products, services and support to their customers, which makes them a great fit for Clark," says Dennis Lawrence, president and CEO at Clark Material Handling Company. Darr Equipment president Robert Engstrom says his group is "very excited to represent the full-line of Clark products to our customers in central and southwest Texas through our Liftmasters dealership. Working with a manufacturer who shares our customer focus and our commitment to quality products and customer service fits in well with our values at Liftmasters." Since its founding in 1982, Liftmasters' mission has been to provide their customers with quality equipment coupled with unparalleled customer service, he says. "When it comes to our customers, our goal is to keep them running by providing the best equipment and services the materials handling industry has to offer. This new partnership with Clark, coupled with our other product and service offerings, will provide our customers a solution to any materials handling need they may have." Liftmasters will support Clark's new equipment, aftermarket parts and service efforts out of its facility located in San Antonio. The dealership already offers a full line of new and used equipment including Komatsu and Linde forklifts, Big Joe pallet jacks, JLG aerial lifts and various warehouse dock, safety and storage products. Based in Dallas, Texas, family-owned Darr Equipment has 13 locations throughout Texas and Oklahoma.
