The Fourth edition of Last Mile ASEAN (LMA) Conference & Expo 2020 is scheduled for the 5th and 6th of November at BITEC, Bangna, Bangkok. The event is the only one of its kind in Thailand and dedicated to addressing the nuances of Last Mile for Ecommerce, Retail, Post, Parcel, Express Delivery, Logistics and Warehouse Providers in ASEAN.

Last-mile delivery has long been a critical area of focus for Omni-channel retailers, logistics and supply chain professionals, and the pandemic has quickened a number of important trends in the industry. The current pandemic has pushed many retailers to sustain sales online when most physical stores have been forced to close. "Keeping the current situation in mind, we have designed the agenda of LMA 2020 to understand the impact of this pandemic and its significant changes to the way that last-mile delivery and fulfillment is managed in the 'NEW NORMAL'", said Anuj Mathur, Managing Director - Manch Exhibitions (Thailand) Co. Ltd.

Last Mile ASEAN will feature exhibitors covering the entire value chain of last mile i.e. from fulfillment / Distribution Centre Solutions, Sustainable Packaging, Electric Vehicles and Last Mile Delivery Service & Solution Providers. The Conference aims to address various topics under the Theme "Strategies to Adapt your Last Mile Delivery and Fulfillment to the New Normal (Post Covid World)".

Some of the key topics are:

  • Takeaways from the recent Pandemic and how to transform your logistics for retail and e-Commerce and improve the Last Mile Supply Chain to enable businesses (online retail; e-Commerce; Post, Parcel and logistics companies) to overcome another global or regional situation

  • Contactless Delivery and Payments

  • Is Automating your Distribution Centre an answer to manpower challenges and Inventory backlogs?

  • Collaboration between different Stakeholders in Last Mile Value Chain - Is this the way forward?

Mathur further added, "The show this year looks to bring together innovative solution providers that can prove to be beneficial for senior management professionals responsible for Logistics, Supply Chain, DC/FC from Retail (Omni-Channel), eCommerce/ Online Marketplaces, Parcel Delivery Companies, Postal Operators, Logistics companies, On Demand Delivery Companies, Express Delivery Companies from ASEAN region."

The Show is being supported by leading industry Associations like Thai E-Commerce Association (TECA), Thai Express Courier Association (TEXCA), Supply Chain Management Association of the Philippines(SCMAP) and Hong Kong Federation of E-Commerce (HKFEC). The event is also being promoted through several leading industry publications, portals and media partners of the event.

The event expects to host more than 500 Industry Professionals with the aim of nurturing collaborations and facilitate knowledge sharing between different stake holders responsible for last mile.

These releases in Forkliftaction are a nice experience for SNDC... We got seven inquiries coming from Canada, USA, Mexico, Israel and Australia (five from retailers, two from machines manufacturers) and we are still in contact with them. I can state that's a success story!

I know I can count on them. They give valuable suggestions on the campaign planning, and to publish content is as easy as abc, as they take care of the material layout and check links. This is a great support.
