 Kivnon's K11 AGV |
Automation specialist Kivnon has launched what is thought to be one of the first AGV trade-in schemes.
Kivnon says its Swappage scheme aims to help the industrial sector in the new post-coronavirus era.
With this initiative, the Kivnon group aims to facilitate the renewal and acquisition of self-guided vehicles. "At Kivnon, we have a wide range of self-guided industrial vehicles for the transport of all kinds of goods and that are capable of moving loads of up to 6,000 kg using magnetic navigation or mapping technologies that allow them to adapt to any industrial environment and production process," says a spokesman.
Under the scheme, Kivnon will offer significant discounts to customers who trade back an old AGV of any brand when purchasing a new Kivnon AGV. The offer is valid until 31 December.
Kivnon designs, develops, manufactures and distributes AGVs and systems in order to improve the productivity of internal logistics of its customers.
Besides the head office in Barcelona, Kivnon also has offices in Valladolid, Zaragoza, Vitoria (Spain), Grossostheim (Germany), Coventry (UK), Puebla (Mexico), Chattanooga, Detroit (USA), São Paulo (Brazil), Nitra, Žilina (Slovakia) and Paris (France).
