From kitchen tables with squealing children, or isolated at the home PC littered with empty coffee mugs and scraps of jam toast. To say we are living in strange times is, of course, an understatement. Many of us know each other as peers, friends and associates and now is the time to celebrate these bonds and to keep each other sane throughout isolation and tough times.

Next Thursday (April 2nd), Forkliftaction is starting a new community blog 'The Kitchen Table Mingle' in an attempt to keep our members connected, break feelings of isolation, have a bit of fun, shake off stress and maintain business momentum.

This will be a meeting place, use it to share your experiences in this crazy time of isolation and pandemonium!

We'd love you to join in the fun, here is how you can get involved:
  • Post jokes, tips, tricks and hacks to help us all negotiate the new terrain in our 'Join the Kitchen Table Mingle' thread in the NEWS & PERSPECTIVES Forum.
  • Share photos and YouTube videos (vlogs) of your new home office, or from your modified work station. Email them to www.forkliftaction.com or post on LinkedIn and Twitter with the hashtag #KitchenTableMingle
  • From next week, we'll include some forklift inspired games to break boredom, email us your answers for the glory of...an honourable mention in the next blog edition.
  • The Kitchen Table Mingle blog will host a link to our new GLOBAL Virtual Exposition. You can learn more about becoming an exhibitor here.
Every week we will pull from these contributions from our community for our new blog. We'll also include a roundup of our current news coverage on the impact of COVID-19 on the materials handling industry.

Until then take care, stay safe.
