Supply chain experts from Australia Post, KPMG, Ikea, David Jones, Dematic, Linfox, Flinders Ports, ANL (CMA/CGM), Visa Global Logistics and Colliers are set to headline this year's MEGATRANS2020 conference.

MEGATRANS2020 is excited to announce the first headline speakers for its conference program at this year's exhibition.

The bi-annual supply chain, logistics and materials handling exhibition and conference is set to take place in Melbourne from April 2021, with a conference to run alongside the exhibition across the three days.

To open the conference, there will be representatives from the Victorian Government and Department of Transport who will discuss the state of the industry at a breakfast briefing followed by experts discussing global supply chain and international trade and shipping throughout day one.

Day two will feature electric and autonomous vehicles and road transport and on the final day experts will cover the latest developments in retail and e-commerce.

Practitioners from a broad range of logistics and supply chain specialisms will be presenting the latest innovations and developments on topics including the Modern Slavery Act, automation and robotics, IMO 2020 cap, telematics and global disruption.

"We're delighted to announce such a high-calibre range of speakers for this year's MEGATRANS2020 conference. Australia's logistics and supply chain industry is experiencing an unprecedented period of growth. As organisations explore ways of operating a more efficient, sustainable and cost-effective operation, MEGATRANS will present a unique opportunity for delegates to find out what some of the largest organisations in this sector are doing to meet these increasing challenges and demand," Simon Coburn, Show Director says.

Headline speakers include:
  • Ben Franzi, General Manager Parcel & Express Services, Australia Post
  • Diana Armado, Procurement Manager, David Jones
  • Henry Brunekreef, Director, Operations Advisory and National Leader, Supply Chain Management, KPMG
  • Monica Velez, National Director Logistics & Supply Chain, Colliers
  • Stewart Lammin, CEO, Flinders Ports
  • Simon Hardwidge, CEO, Visa Global Logistics
  • Nicholas Capp, Group CEO, Cameron Group
