January 30, 2019, Illinois - The Warehousing Education and Research Council (WERC) announced that registration is now open for its annual conference, which takes place April 28 - May1, 2019 in Columbus, Ohio.

The conference brings supply chain and logistics professionals together with innovative companies and thought leaders to create connections and share solutions that will drive the industry forward.

"Warehousing and logistics is a vast, vast industry that intersects all borders and sectors," said WERC CEO Michael Mikitka. "The WERC Annual Conference brings people out of their facilities and presents them with innovative approaches and tested solutions that will improve operations."

Roughly 1,000 warehousing, logistics and supply chain professionals attend the conference each year. The ever-popular Solutions Center features leading companies and organizations in the logistics and supply chain sector, and attendees also benefit from keynote presentations, peer-driven educational sessions, group discussions, facility tours and networking events. It is an unrivaled opportunity to explore industry priorities like outsourcing, labor management, metrics and more.

"In warehousing, we all share similar opportunities and challenges, but the practicalities of our sector -whether it be manufacturing, health care, retail or one of the many other possibilities - give us very different perspectives," Mikitka says. "WERC is the unifier and the aggregator of expertise from across the industry, helping our members create connections and share solutions to drive the industry forward."

Registration is open online at werc.org/2019.

Registrants can enjoy exclusive savings if they are a WERC member, use WERC's official hotel reservations partner or register early before March 20, 2019. WERC is also now accepting applications from suppliers wishing to be part of the Solutions Center.
