A worker has been burned in a blaze alongside Quay St at Ports of Auckland.
The fire is thought to have started in a reach stacker.
A Ports of Auckland spokesman has confirmed a container-moving machine was involved in the fire on Jellicoe Wharf.
The driver received minor burns and was taken to hospital.
The charred reach stacker remained on the site while firefighters inspected it and nearby containers.
WorkSafe has been notified of the incident.
