The industry's trade association, MHEDA (Material Handling Equipment Distributors Association), grants the most Valuable Partner Award (MVP) to dealers who demonstrate a commitment to excellence, professionalism, and good stewardship. MVP Award recipients satisfied a rigorous set of criteria, provided documentation along with several letters of recommendation, which results with 5% of members achieving the MVP. MHEDA recognizes their supplier members with the Most Valuable Supplier Award (MVS). This esteemed award recognizes companies who have demonstrated an exemplary commitment to their dealer network, their employees and their community. With less than 5% of MHEDA's member companies earning award, MVS is for those committed to excellence. For details and a full list of award winners, visit www.mheda.org/mvs

To qualify for the MVP or MVS award each company must provide evidence of their commitment to their partners. MVP specifically looks at the relationship between their customers, employees and suppliers while MVS evaluates a number of areas important to the distributor companies who do business with them. Both awards look for documentation regarding a "Give Back" effort, something very important to MHEDA's core values.

Consumers at all levels are looking for credibility before making any purchase, and that includes material handling equipment. Regardless of the industry, it is vital for any company to gain recognition for its outstanding achievements and customer service in order to distinguish themselves from competitors. The MVP and MVS Award recipients are able to brand their excellence through use of award logos marketing and PR efforts within each company.
"MHEDA MVP and MVS winners are among an elite group of distributors and suppliers that have reached a pinnacle of the best service combined with industry leading business practices," said Doug Carson, 2018 MHEDA Chairman of the Board and VP of Marketing & Sales for Fallsway Equipment Company in Akron, OH.

MHEDA represents over 600 companies in the material handling equipment business. The association provides services to companies seeking to improve their business through education, networking, benchmarking and best practices. For more information, visit www.mheda.org
