Organisers are expecting strong attendance at MODEX 2018 to be held from April 9-12 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.
More than 850 exhibitors are confirmed for the trade show.
The event will include more than 100 free education sessions, augmented by a number of powerful keynotes, kicking off with Juan Perez, chief information and engineering officer of UPS, who will present on "Anticipating Tomorrow's Supply Chain Challenges - Today". He'll discuss how UPS, a worldwide leader in logistics, embraces innovation to respond to and prepare for the Fourth Industrial Revolution enabled by the industrial Internet of Things.
Delegates will also hear from Georgia Governor Nathan Deal, who will discuss the state's significant investments in supply chain and transportation infrastructure for moving goods quickly and efficiently through the south-eastern region.
Andrew McAfee, co-founder and co-director of the Initiative on the Digital Economy and a principal research scientist at the MIT Sloan School of Management, will deliver an address titled "Harnessing Our Digital Future", which will plot the impact of the digital revolution.
The MHI 2018 Annual Industry Report will be another highlight, and MHI CEO George W. Prest will be joined by Scott Sopher, principal of Deloitte Consulting LLP's Supply Chain practice, to discuss the report on the supply chain trends and technologies that are transforming supply chains.
