Employers have a unique opportunity to reward and celebrate their best forklift drivers and instructors as the Talent in Logistics Awards are now open for nominations.The exciting
Forklift Operator of the Year and
Forklift Instructor of the Year live competition finals both take place at the Talent in Logistics Conference on 21st June 2018 at the Telford International Centre, UK.
Forklift Operator of the Year 2018, sponsored by UniCarriers UK Ltd, is a chance for lift truck operators to demonstrate their skills, and for employers to engage drivers and reward excellence. Likewise, the Forklift Instructor of the Year award will recognise the lift truck instructors that are dedicated to delivering quality lift truck training and instruction.
Companies can nominate their best team members for both awards now via a free online nomination form on the
Talent in Logistics website. Nominees will then be invited to complete online tests specially designed to identify the materials handling professionals with the highest level of underpinning knowledge.

The best scoring operators and instructors will be announced in April 2018. These shortlisted finalists will then be invited to the Talent in Logistics Conference to take part in the live grand finals of the awards. This includes a range of action-packed challenges designed to test the finalists' knowledge and practical skills. Their performance will be assessed by a panel of expert judges.
That evening, the winner of each competition will be revealed during the Talent in Logistics Awards, also at the Telford International Centre. At this special black-tie awards event, winners of all the Talent in Logistics Awards categories will be announced by celebrity host, much loved English sports journalist and Sky Sports presenter, Jeff Stelling
The
Talent in Logistics Awards are completely dedicated to recognising the exceptional individuals that are essential to the success of the logistics sector and there are categories to celebrate professionals at every level of training and development.
The recipients of last year's Awards were from a wide range of logistics operations from across the UK and Ireland. Winners hailed from materials handling and training businesses large and small, including Travis Perkins, Wilko Retail Ltd., Nasaleze, Phoenix Training, TJX Europe and Specialised Training.
