English crane rental company John Sutch has ordered five new cranes - a Demag AC 220-5, two Demag AC 60-3s and two used Challenger 3160 all-terrain cranes.

Owner John Sutch ordered the equipment from Terex Cranes regional sales manager Tim Leech a few weeks ago in Liverpool and Hayley Sutch-Ware, daughter and future successor of John Sutch, signed the contract at this year's Conexpo in Las Vegas.

"I visited the plant in Zweibrücken at the end of last year and was tremendously impressed, not only by the high quality of the cranes made by Terex and Demag, but also by the equally robust production standards implemented at the plant. The company's booth at Conexpo just confirmed those first impressions," Hayley Sutch-Ware says.

She shares this enthusiasm for the quality of Terex Cranes with her father, who had already ordered a Demag AC 100-4L all-terrain crane during the Zweibrücken visit.

"Sutch has been an important customer for a long time now, and the fact that they decided to buy half a dozen of our cranes is something that we're naturally very happy about," according to Leech.

John Sutch Cranes is a mobile crane hire and machine installation specialist based in the north west of England, with a head office and depot in Liverpool and a depot in Manchester. The company has a customer base throughout the north of England and works on major projects on a national basis.

The business was founded by John Sutch, a heavy crane driver himself, 20 years ago.

The family-run business employs over 80 staff.
