Frontier Forklifts is tripling its capacity

Frontier Forklifts has more than tripled its capacity with the recent purchase of a 30,000 sq ft. (2,800 sqm) facility on South Main St. in Pearland, Texas.

Frontier Forklifts has been offering equipment and service to its materials handling customers across Southeast Texas for 15 years.

"We outgrew both the office and warehouse space and began actively searching for a larger facility in 2016," says spokeswoman Reagen Wilkins.

The move will allow the dealership to expand further, and Frontier plans to add two more sales people and three technicians in 2017, she tells Forkliftaction News.

Frontier began in 2002, offering equipment, service, parts and rentals throughout Houston and surrounding areas. 

"Since then, we have grown to 20 employees with a large and loyal customer base spanning Southeast Texas.  We are currently the largest HELI forklift dealer in the Southwest United States and we have been awarded the prestigious MHEDA VIP Award for the second ... year in a row," Wilkins adds.

Frontier is expecting "steady growth throughout the remainder of 2017", she says, noting that the business environment in the greater Houston area is stable and in a slow but steady growth mode. 

"We see confidence returning to our customer base as the price of oil stabilises.  Houston has a very diversified economy, but it is still strongly tied to the oil and gas industry."

Besides HELI, Frontier also sells Hubtex and Blue Giant equipment and Cascade attachments.
