Forklift, rough terrain truck, and telehandler operators regularly need to lift and safely move a wide variety of material using the same machine.  Removing the fork tines to install other carriage mounted attachments can be a time consuming and cumbersome job.

Founded in 1969, Arrow is one of North America’s most respected suppliers of fork tines and attachments for all types of material handling equipment.  Over the last decade, Arrow has utilized on our attachment design expertise to produce a wide variety of fork mounted attachments such as booms, buckets, carpet poles/coil rams, trailer spotters, lifting bars, fork spreaders, and more.  Our newest additions to this product line are self-dumping hoppers.

With no costly adapters, and no installation tools required, Arrow fork mounted attachments are simple to pick up, simple to secure, simple to use, and universal in fit. Built-in fork pockets allow the operator to drive up and slip the forks into the attachment, where they can then put the machine in park and quickly secure the attachment to the machine.  In no time at all the operator is back in the driver’s seat and ready for the next material handling job.

Some examples of fork mounted attachments include:

Booms:
Arrow offers extension, jib, and truss booms in multiple capacities and lengths to fit a variety of applications and material handling machine types.  If one of our standard booms does not fit the user’s specific application, then our highly skilled product engineering team will work with our sales department and our dealer to custom design a boom just right for the job.

Buckets:
Fork mounted buckets are the perfect solution when a user needs a bucket only occasionally to handle tasks like collecting refuse or moving loose, light material. Available in three standard widths/capacities, Arrow’s fork mounted buckets are used on everything from warehouse and rough terrain forklifts, to telehandlers and skid loaders.

Carpet Poles/Coil Rams:
Arrow’s two styles of fork mounted carpet poles/coil rams are designed to minimize lost load center for superior capacity and safety ratings. Rugged construction and a modular design ensures that Arrow’s carpet poles/coil rams will offer users a long, economical service life.  If the pole happens get bent, or a latch pin gets broken, just that component can be replaced without having to buy an entire new assembly.

Trailer Spotters and Lifting Bars:
Trailer Spotters and Lifting Bars, and especially Spotting/Lifting Combinations, are some of Arrow’s most popular fork mounted attachments. No more drilling holes in forks!  Designed to be used in conjunction with universal sized trailer balls, drawbars, pintle hooks, swivel hooks, and 5th wheel hitch plates, these economical attachments offer a variety of useful ways to safely transport various types of material, and they never sit in storage very long.

Fork Spreaders:
Need wide load stability? An Arrow fork spreader may be the solution. Arrow’s fork spreaders can be built to mount on the machine’s exiting forks, and are available in customizable widths, capacities, and fork styles to meet the user’s requirements.

Self-Dumping Hoppers:
Arrow’s newest addition to our lineup of fork mounted attachments are self-dumping hoppers.  Most commonly lifted and moved with a straight mast warehouse forklift, Arrow’s self-dumping hoppers are built with a trip rope that the operator can pull to release the locking mechanism without leaving the driver’s seat. The hoppers automatically return to upright and locked position when empty. Optional caster wheels or lifting hooks can installed upon request.

Many of Arrow's fork mounted attachments are supplied with work safe user guides. These guides are intended to assist the machine owner/operator with proper installation and safe use. Arrow recommends that buyers of fork mounted attachments familiarize themselves with the information in the work safe user guide, plus any applicable industry safety standards/regulations. Users should also be aware of the original equipment manufacturer’s recommendations for appropriate and safe use of removable attachments, and ensure all instructions for data plate and capacity information is followed.
