Doosan Industrial Vehicle has begun production of a completely redesigned range of 2.2 to 3.5-tonne electric forklifts, with a host of new safety and performance features as standard.

The new 7-Series of 80 volt 4-wheel electric counter balance trucks follow the core Doosan tradition of delivering simple, powerful performance, while most of all, delivering the best possible value for our customers.

The expanded range, now including XL long wheelbase variants with increased battery capacity, means that Doosan has the most modern and one of the widest ranges of electric counter-balance trucks to suit any electric truck application.

New standard features an automatic electric parking brake, high precision finger-tip controls and advanced control system protected to IP65 rating giving even better protection against water, dust and damp sites where previously only IC engine trucks and optional finger-tip controls would be suitable.

Specifically, Doosan designed the new 7 series to give maximize safety and stability whilst driving. The Guardian Stability System (GSS) dynamically protects the operator and the load to reduce risk of accidents.

In addition, the newly designed steer axle allows the steer wheels to turn to more than 90-degrees, vastly reducing the turning radius of the machine by over 81mm, making turning easier and reducing damage costs.

Other highlights include LED spotlights for better illumination but using less power and vastly reducing bulb failures, upgraded protection packages on the motors and one of the most comfortable seats on the market.

In addition, redesigned masts provide greater visibility through the mast, with the rear grab handle with horn and panoramic mirrors providing increased safety and all-round visibility.

Battery side lift in out is easy and fast to change batteries in multi-shift operations and Doosan also offers an optional roller battery system if required.
