Merlo's new compact will debut soon |
Italy's Merlo is poised to unveil compact additions to the telescopic handler line-up at the UK's largest agricultural equipment show later this month.
Merlo will use Lamma 2016 at Peterborough to debut the TF30.9 with 3 T maximum lift capacity.
The compact model extends the heavy-duty Turbofarmer II range.
The smaller models include a TF33.7 with 3.3 T capacity, as well as low-profile variants.
Both machines are fitted with load-sensing hydraulics and a 122 HP Deutz engine capable of 40 km/h.
The big end of the Turbofarmer II range consists of machines with capacities of 3,800 and 5,000 kg, lifting heights between 7 and 10 metres, turbo engines between 122 and 156 HP, a load-sensing hydraulic system, hydrostatic transmission and top speeds of 40 km/h.
The Merlo Group, founded in 1964, has over 1,200 employees and production facilities spanning 220,000 sqm in Cuneo.
Over 90% of its production is exported through a commercial network of seven subsidiaries and over 600 dealers.
Merlo claims to be the market leader in telehandlers with rotating turrets and in telehandlers with hydrostatic transmission.
