Manitou on show at Solutrans

Manitou is participating in the Solutrans exhibition which ends in Lyon on 21 November
The company is using the show to exhibit its materials handling solutions and to address professionals in road and urban transport.
The highlight of the exhibit is Manitou's Truck Mounted Mast (TMM) range of truck-mounted forklifts.
On show at the event, the TMM is available in four models: 2T or 2.5T bi-directional or multi-directional.

FLTA names awards host

The Fork Lift Truck Association (FLTA) has announced that renowned rugby veteran and TV presenter Martin Bayfield will host the FLTA Annual Awards for Excellence in February 2016.
An RFU Player of the Year, Bayfield earned an impressive 37 caps as an international rugby player for England and British and Irish Lions, as well as winning two Grand Slams. In recent years, Bayfield has made a name for himself in radio, TV and cinema.
To be held at The International Centre in Telford on Saturday 27th February 2016, the FLTA Awards for Excellence recognise the important developments made by the materials handling industry in areas of health and safety, training, product development, environmental responsibility, customer service and operator ergonomics.

MHI launches campaign

MHI has launched a new awareness campaign designed to not only promote manufacturing and supply chain as an innovative and rewarding career choice, but to change the perception of jobs in the industry. The goal of the #iWorkInTheSupplyChain campaign is to connect, engage and inspire next-generation workers to pursue manufacturing and supply chain careers.
