Forklift Operator of the Year India has now entered its final phase. The top 8 operators will now compete for the title

'Forklift Operator of the Year 2015' launched by Praguna, ThinkLink Learning in partnership with RTITB UK, has now entered into its final phase, where Top 8 operators selected through regional heats held across various locations in India will compete for the coveted title.

This novel initiative was launched in July this year at India Warehousing Show 2015 with the objective of recognizing and celebrating the skills and working practices of the best forklift truck operator in the country.

Competition in its first phase received a tremendous response from all sections of the logistics and supply chain industry, with more than 190 operators from 66 companies competing for a spot in finals. Grand Finale of the event will be held at Praguna's Flagship training facility in Dharuhera, Haryana on 19th November and is going to be a spectacle to witness.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor, 20Cube Warehousing & Distribution, Linfox Logistics, Menlo Logistics, Galaxy Surfactants, TVS Logistics, BLG Logistics have their operators shortlisted for the finals displaying tremendous skills and temperament. Winner of the Grand Finale will go onto represent India in the UK Edition of the competition in 2016.

In addition, the event will also award the company sending in the best operators to the competition with the title of 'Best Forklift Workforce of the Year 2015'. Currently, the companies in the race for this title are Toyota Kirloskar Motor, TVS Logistics, Toll India Logistics, Rhenus Logistics and Goa Glass Fibre Limited, in this order.
