 RAVAS RCS Hy-Q |
RAVAS launches new hydraulic scale
Zaltbommel, NetherlandsRAVAS has introduced the RCS Hy-Q, a high-accuracy hydraulic scale for counterbalance forklifts and reach trucks. On a 2.5T lift truck, the RCS Hy-Q shows the weight on the forks in 2 kg increments. Next to the weight, the display in the forklift cabin also shows a load bar that indicates how much of the lifting capacity of the truck is being used. Green means safe, yellow means close to 100% lifting capacity, red means overload.
The RCS Hy-Q is not affected by changing load centre positions, making it ideal for use in combination with roll clamps and side shifters.
The RCS Hy-Q is easy to install as it does not require a manifold block or return line to the hydraulic tank of the truck.
 B&B's LayerMaster |
B&B adds new clamp
Cramlington, United KingdomB&B Attachments has released the LayerMaster clamp, an attachment specifically designed to cope with palletised loads that require splitting for easier handling and storage.
LayerMaster is unique in the way it clamps on all four sides of a product, which means that only the slightest amount of pressure is required to hold the load. In a situation where a number of different layer weights or product types are required to be handled, a special pressure valve can be supplied to select three or four different pressure settings.
The LayerMaster comes in three different mounting types to suit the site's specific requirement and forklift fleet. The fork-mounted version allows LayerMaster to be transported to goods anywhere in the warehouse, and can be fitted to existing equipment.
LayerMaster is also available as a side-mounting version for businesses requiring layer picking of cased products.
There is also a carriage-mounted option which can be supplied in a static version consisting of a complete system with lifting mast, power pack and control panel.
 The CYBERWATCH SAT system |
Keytroller adds remote device
Tampa, FL, United StatesKeytroller has released a new device designed for monitoring equipment via satellite.
The system is designed for monitoring machinery in remote locations like mines, logging sites, drilling rigs, offshore oil rigs and international ships which typically have no cellular or WiFi connectivity.
CYBERWATCH SAT utilises the Iridium network and it transmits up to six-hour meter readings and six alarm readings with GPS location once per day. This data can then be viewed on a web portal or via Smartphone.
The service is available on subscription.
