Praguna' s Forklift Operator of the Year 2015 got off to an electric start at Rhenus Logistics, Chennai on 29th September.A total 42 Forklift Operators from 16 Organizations participated in this heat and competed for the two coveted spots in the finals. In fact, the event was witnessed by close to 20 executives from various companies who had come to encourage and lend their support to this novel initiative.
The competition comprised of two stages, where operators were evaluated on safety, efficiency and awareness. Only Top 10 competitors made the cut into the final round of this heat and eventually 2 operators from Toyota Kirloskar Motor Private Limited and Linfox Logistics made it to the Grand Finale, which is scheduled to be held at Praguna Dharuhera Center on 19th November.
Praguna Team is now moving from South to the West of India, where they will continue their search in the city of Pune and Mumbai. If the participation in Chennai is an indicator then the heats in Pune and Mumbai are going to be a spectacle to witness.
