A success story continues into its third generation

MEYER introduces the third Generation of their
G Series Fork Positioner complete with an optimized visibility and reduced weight. The Shaft Guide Concept, proven for more than 20 years, remains unchanged in its technical characteristics. However, the new generation surprises with a now reengineered frame design that combines a reduced attachment weight, and further improved visibility.

The added-value Shaft-Guide Concept for full maintenance and fleet operations

In the middle of the eighties Hans H. Meyer GmbH
High energy efficiency and clean operation: the wear-resistant MEYER Shaft Guide Concept.

had already began the development of the Shaft Guide Concept for forklift truck attachments, which lead to the introduction of the first shaft-guided Fork Positioner. From the beginning to date, solid material precision-machined and hard-chromed shafts, in combination with long-life bushings (encapsuled with shaft wiper seals) provided for excellent smooth movement characteristics with fast operation speed, and equal fork travel. With the new G Series, the shafts are now split in the center to allow for easier exchange in the case of damage. The long-life bushings with their extended life require a minimum of maintenance, which predestines this fork positioner for full-maintenance and fleet operations.

Maximum versatility

With the attachment frame width being independent from the carriage width of the truck a maximum opening range is provided for a handling of various load sizes. The fork carriers, with their flexible fork adjustment, can utilize different fork sections for use of standard truck forks. Wider fork hooks, or special fork widths, traverse freely over the outer attachment frame - the full opening range remains available. The heavy-duty fork positioner is also designed to work with extreme long forks. The fork carriers are pre-drill as standard for easy retrofitting of bolt-on forks.

Extended product program

The new generation 6-25xxG with a valve block sideshift and 6-26xxG with separate (constant) sideshift are optionally available with or without forks, usually additionally bolt-on for safe operations. Both ISO-carriage mounted and mast integral designs are available. With the new G-series MEYER further broadens the product range with a 1.6 t at 500mm and 2.5 t at 600mm load center version.

A new AUTOMOTIVE line

The automobile logistics line stands out due to its ability to meet the special demands on fork lifts and attachments within this application. These demanding operations, which mostly require extreme long fork lengths, require a robust and reliable fork positioner to handle highly variable load dimensions.
With the new ranges of 6-25xxA and 6-26xxA, MEYER now presents the new AUTOMOTIVE models as part of the extensive fork positioner product range.

MEYER and BOLZONI AURAMO will present this new fork positioner and further brand new product releases on their stand 8C75 in hall 8 on the LogiMAT logistics exhibition, taking place 10th to 12th February in Stuttgart, Germany.

These releases in Forkliftaction are a nice experience for SNDC... We got seven inquiries coming from Canada, USA, Mexico, Israel and Australia (five from retailers, two from machines manufacturers) and we are still in contact with them. I can state that's a success story!
