Big Joe has recently increased it's commitment to ProMat 2015, booth #641, and will now host one of the largest product showcases on the show floor.

Now with 2,500 sq. ft of show space, Big Joe plans to introduce a new strategic focus for the brand including a major product introduction.

Based on the success of the Big Joe J1 "Joey" that was introduced at Promat in 2013, Big Joe will be introducing the next product in the Joey family, the J2.

What is it?

One part order picker, one part counterbalanced forklift and totally unique; the new J2 Joey will allow users to handle a pallet and perform a variety of low level order fulfillment duties better than any other industrial truck currently available. The new Big Joe J2 will come in three configurations including variants that are well suited for either store level piece picking or high cycle DC case picking applications. Information on lift heights, capacities and other specifications will not be available until closer to the product introduction. In regard to commonality with the J1, the J2 will share the AC technology, drive line and power steering control scheme of the J1 which has been very well received.

Why is it?

The J2 has been developed based on several trends that are emerging and changing the nature of the tasks a lift truck needs to do. Most lift trucks used today where built for a world where stack it high and let it fly was the norm, and moving full unitized pallet loads dominated distribution volume.

Today as changes in distribution make smaller, faster, and more frequent turns of more SKUs and more changes in SKUs a reality, new tools are needed. The lift truck designs of the 50s and 70s simply are just not as well suited to the needs of distribution as they used to be, even with the vast improvements in technology that has been coming from manufacturers.

With the J2, Big Lift LLC seeks to show continuing leadership in basic product innovation with an eye on the future. To proactively meet the needs of where industry is going with concepts like omnichannel distribution, ecommerce, and same day delivery - the time is right to rethink and reinvent in lift trucks. The J2 will be featured in an interactive demonstration area at Promat booth #641 and competing for the innovation award from the show sponsor MHI.

These releases in Forkliftaction are a nice experience for SNDC... We got seven inquiries coming from Canada, USA, Mexico, Israel and Australia (five from retailers, two from machines manufacturers) and we are still in contact with them. I can state that's a success story!

After advertising with Forkliftaction.com, we got many enquiries regarding interest to be our distributor. Mostly from Europe and USA but including a few in ASEAN. We feel that the advertisement was useful and good for market expansion.
