Greenville, NC, United States NACCO Materials Handling Group has appointed Brett Schemerhorn as president of Big Trucks Americas. Schemerhorn has nearly 20 years of experience in the materials handling industry. He joined NMHG as an inventory analyst in 1995 and has held various positions, including the vice president of national accounts and vice president of sales for Hyster Company. Most recently, he served as the vice president of marketing for NMHG, where he was responsible for the overall marketing of the Hyster, Yale and UTILEV brands to customers, dealers and internal personnel. Schemerhorn holds a bachelor's degree in finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an MBA in finance from DePaul University.

Until a replacement can be found for Schemerhorn's previous position, the marketing department will report to Chuck Pascarelli, president, sales and marketing Americas for NMHG. The specialised Big Trucks team was developed as part of a recent reorganisation to better meet the needs and challenges of its customers.
