BlueMax 300D SCR system from Nett Technologies Inc

The US Environmental Protection Agency has verified a first-of-its-kind emission control system from Nett Technologies Inc.

The 19 May verification involves Nett's BlueMax-brand 300D selective catalytic reduction (SCR) system, which can reduce nitrogen oxide emissions by at least 80% from medium- and heavy-duty diesel engines between 75-560 kW in portable and stationary applications. The system can reduce emissions of carbon monoxide and hydrocarbons by at least 90% and particulate matter by at least 25%.

A forklift can lift the preassembled modular kit into place on a stationary engine.

Among earlier verifications including forklift applications, the US agency approved Nett's BlueMax 100 urea-based SCR system for non-road four-cycle non-exhaust-gas-recirculation diesel engines between 75-370 kW. It is applicable for engines originally manufactured from 1996-2008 and originally certified without a catalyst to EPA Tier 1, 2, or 3 standards.
