ID Systems' PowerBox technology

Southeast Industrial Equipment Inc has ordered wireless solutions valued at USD200,000 for deployment on a forklift fleet in a plant of an unidentified major manufacturer of appliances.

ID Systems Inc of Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey will supply its PowerBox-brand wireless vehicle management system (VMS) to the manufacturer, a new end-user of ID Systems' solutions.

The cloud-hosted PowerBox VMS is designed for rapid deployment and benefit achievement with no need to interface with a site's data network or information technology support organisation. The pre-configured PowerBox has a combination of local radio frequency and cellular technologies for autonomous wireless data communications. The system is offered as a subscription service without a requirement for an upfront capital investment.

Charlotte-based Southeast Industrial distributes Toyota forklifts, Genie aerial platforms, Cushman utility vehicles, Terex construction equipment and Advance industrial scrubbers through materials handling and construction equipment dealerships throughout North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Virginia.
