Flight Systems Industrial Products (FSIP), the leading remanufacturer of industrial controls, has announced the following promotions within its management team: Barry Bowman, President of FSIP, has been promoted to President of the Brynavon Electronics Group (BEG). BEG, a privately held entity, consists of FSIP, located in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, Ramsey Electronics, located in Victor, New York, and AVCOM of Virginia, located in Richmond, Virginia. Jay Evans, Quality Control Manager, was promoted to Vice President of the BEG and President of Ramsey/AVCOM. He has relocated to the Richmond facility. Eric Cowan, previously Director of Remanufacturing, was promoted to Vice President of Operations for FSIP and Steve Lloyd, previously Director of Sales and Marketing, was promoted to Vice President of Sales and Marketing for FSIP.
"These three companies have operated as separate entities in the past. It's our goal to implement the strategic approaches we have successfully put in place at FSIP to strengthen our sister companies and at the same time identify those synergies that will benefit all three," says Bowman. "I've been very fortunate to have a strong core of managerial talent here at FSIP. The new responsibilities for these individuals will make them even stronger and provide the employees of all three companies a bright future."
