Laadur has celebrated its 20th anniversary in Tallinn.

About 250 people attended Estonian forklift company Laadur's 20th anniversary celebration at its headquarters in Tallinn recently.

Managing director Fred Märtsoo tells Forkliftaction.com News his company has also just completed a new building for its South Estonian centre and will have an opening ceremony on 13 September.

"[The] company has invested heavily into service vans and depots to be able to deliver excellent service to customers," he explains. "Today, Laadur is active in forklift, warehouse racking, aerial work platform, telehandler and construction equipment sales, service and repairs. We have five depots in Estonia and one in Latvia."

Laadur was established in 1993, one year after the currency reform where the Estonian kroon was reintroduced and free trade became possible. The company started as a Rocla and Yale forklift and Kasten racking dealer. Laadur says its Yale forklifts now make up almost 20% of the Estonian forklift market.

Headquartered in Tallinn, Laadur employs 65 people, and in 2012 had a turnover of EUR6.9 million (USD9.2 million).
