Clark posts web feature to link customers, experts

Clark materials handling equipment operations in North America and the South Pacific have added a website "Get a Quote" feature, enabling customers to electronically request information on specific products, options and configurations.

"Upon receipt of a request, a customer will be contacted directly by one of Clark's materials handling experts (or authorised dealers) to consult with them on their materials handling needs (and help them) realise a maximum return on their materials handling investments," says Rob Smith, marketing supervisor for Lexington-based Clark Material Handling Co.

The feature was posted on 5 July on the North American website and other Clark affiliates plan to post the feature on their respective websites soon.

Clark implemented the feature using in-house talent.

The Clark materials handling operations of South Korea-based Young An Co have 350 dealers in 550 locations including, in North America, more than 75 dealers in 175 locations.
