We've often said that success in these challenging times is not about doing what you've always done, but about innovation. There are a couple of good examples in this week's newsletter. Clark Material Handling is one of the innovators, announcing details of an expansion of its North American operations with a newly built manufacturing facility in San Luis Potosí in Mexico's central region. On the other side of the world, we read about China's LiuGong opening a huge sales and parts centre in Dubai to serve a region that already accounts for 10% of its international revenues. These are two very different developments, but both show the need to adapt to changing business conditions and to find different ways of doing things.
