Dow Energy Materials (DEM) will showcase its integrated portfolio of lithium-ion battery components - including anodes, cathodes and formulated electrolytes - at The Battery Show in Novi, Mich., October 25-27.

DEM harnesses The Dow Chemical Company's material science, manufacturing and R&D experience to meet a new generation of challenges with energy storage. DEM's integrated portfolio of components help manufacturers produce batteries with extended run times, safer performance and increased power and operational life than what is commercially available today.

DEM's Senior Business Director, David Klanecky, will be onsite discussing a variety of topics ranging from product specifications to overall issues facing the energy storage industry. Specifically, DEM can discuss challenges and opportunities in lithium-ion battery manufacturing, including market growth, component demand, and the future of lithium-ion costs and performance.

Additionally, Avani Patel, DEM Senior Research and Development Manager, will be joining a panel on Tuesday, October 25, on the evolution of the li-ion battery and ways that manufacturers at the material level can drive down costs while improving energy density.

We look forward to introducing DEM and its innovative solutions at North America's largest exhibition for advanced batteries. We hope to see you at Booth #B247. For more information, please visit www.dow.com/energy.
