The START-SMART series is designed for the toughest outdoor weather extremes. It has been tested for high voltage spikes, high vibration reliability, condensation and salt reliability and high and low temperature shock reliability. Finally the START SMART was powered and submerged under water for 10 days with no adverse effects, working fine both out of and under the water. The entire device (both keypad and relay module) is potted to prevent water intrusion or condensation on the internal PCB. The small 3" X 3/5" X ¾" profile makes the device very easy to install on any dashboard. It is available in the M series metal piezo keypad and the W series duraswitch keypad. Both are in anodized aluminum milled enclosures.

Also unique to the START-SMART NO exposed cables. Only one cable comes out of the center bottom of the device and connects to a dual relay module (for enabling ignition and starter circuits).
