Green Cubes launches new swappable power platformLithium-ion battery producer Green Cubes Technology has launched its Swappable Power Platform designed for mobile and industrial work stations.
Indiana-based Green Cubes says the platform is a pre-engineered storage solution comprised of three components: the battery, cart power model and charger.
The battery utilises LiFePO4 technology, offering 290W/hr at a nominal 19.2 volts.
The cart power model can support one or two batteries with 300W continuous power output, includes two minutes of integrated battery back-up for hot swap operation, is available with 120VAC at 60Hz or 230VAC at 50Hz output and has the option for a remote LCD display.
Green Cubes says the Swappable Power Platform charger can charge two or four batteries simultaneously.
Senior vice president of product development, Joe Richards says the platform has been designed with “the OEM in mind” and is easily configured to be integrated with other systems which may be in place.
