Greentech brings 8T Li-ion forklift to India

Greentech India Material Handling, a distributor of BYD Forklifts, has introduced the first 8T lithium-ion BYD forklift into India, describing it as a “game-changer” for heavy-duty, zero-emission operations.

“At Greentech India Material Handling (BYD Forklift), we are proud to lead the way in bringing world-class, eco-friendly MHE solutions to the Indian market,” the Chennai-headquartered company states.

Greentech India, founded in 2022, is the authorised BYD Forklift distributor for the whole of India.

New trainees start with KAUP

German-based forklift attachment manufacturer KAUP, has welcomed a team of 18 new trainees.

This brings the total of KAUP employees currently completing their training with KAUP to 61.

“We wish you every success for the training that is now starting!” KAUP states of its new intakes.

Logistics battery provider secures new funding

Rotterdam, Netherlands

Battery solutions provider for industrial logistics, maxwell+spark, has secured EUR9 million (USD10.6 million) in growth funding from Alantra’s Energy Transition Fund, Klima.

Maxwell+spark says the investment will fuel the company’s expansion across Europe and the United States, including its delivery of forklift battery solutions.

Clinton Bemont, CEO of maxwell+spark, says: “We’re propelling our mission to deliver simple, intelligent, cost-cutting energy for industrial logistics”.

The company has operations in Europe, South Africa and the US.
