Howard and David Sellick retired last month
Sellick Equipment Ltd has appointed Colin Sellick as president of the company. This follows the retirement of founders Howard and David Sellick last month.
Colin Sellick, who represents the third generation of the family, has worked in most areas of the company, including assembly, parts, product support, sales and implementation of the EPR system.
Along with the appointment of a new president, the company has added Dan Rankin to the position of vice president and chief financial officer. The company says Rankin is a newcomer to the forklift landscape, but he brings a keen understanding of the financial side of the business.
Sellick has also appointed Greg Buckley as director of engineering and procurement. Buckley has more than 27 years of experience working for Sellick Equipment.
Originally started in 1969 by Walter Sellick along with sons Howard and David, Sellick Equipment converted a Ford 4500 industrial tractor into a forklift for outdoor use.
Currently, there are over 11,000 Sellick-built machines in the field, which are serviced by an extensive North American dealer network consisting of 230 locations.
