 The new IC900 and IC1200 chargers |
Delta-Q Technologies has announced the introduction of two new IC Series battery charging solutions for use with electric forklifts, burden carriers and stock chasers.
The new IC900 and IC1200 Industrial Battery Chargers join the company's IC650 Charger to form a common charging platform for use across product lines.
IC Series chargers are designed for high reliability in difficult warehouse environments, and work with either lead acid (wet/flooded, sealed AGM or gel) or lithium-ion batteries. The three models in the IC Series lineup provide 650, 900 and 1,200 W of DC output power, respectively, and all are available in 24, 36 and 48 V models.
Production of the new models will start in March 2016.
"The IC650 has seen tremendous adoption in the electric (forklift) and materials handling machine markets because of its high reliability, superior uptime and effectiveness in charging lead acid or lithium batteries," says Trent Punnett, vice president, product management and marketing at Delta-Q. "IC Series chargers allow customisation that differentiates a manufacturer's machines and makes them easier to maintain, and our on-board capability provides the convenience of plugging the machine into the nearest outlet."
IC Series chargers are validated for a long service life in challenging onboard applications and provide superior machine uptime. Their IP66-rated ingress protection seals out dirt and fluids, while mechanical design and component selection help resist factors such as vibration, shock and temperature extremes.
Delta-Q products provide "charge quality" for lithium-ion and lead acid batteries using charge profiles developed in Delta-Q's battery lab. These high-performance profiles balance battery life, longevity and charge time requirements. Delta-Q has more than 50 charge profiles, ensuring that users experience better runtime and flexibility for different battery chemistries.
All IC Series chargers have a wide AC input range and are usable on any single-phase electrical grid worldwide.
