The United Kingdom Warehousing Association (UKWA) has appointed Flexi Narrow Aisle Ltd sales and marketing director John Maguire as its new vice chairman. Maguire will work closely with the association's national chairman, Derrick Potter, and will succeed Potter as UKWA national chairman in 2011. He has held several senior posts in the materials handling industry and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport.

Hytrol Conveyor Co has appointed Chuck Waddle as vice president of business development. Waddle will be responsible for expanding Hytrol's brand awareness and capabilities. He will also help demonstrate to end users the benefits of choosing Hytrol as their suppliers of choice. Waddle has been in the materials handling industry for over 30 years and has operated at the executive level for the last 16 years. He previously worked for FKI Logistex, Mathews Conveyor, Crisplant and most recently with VanDerLande Industries.
