Christopher Stott, managing director of Still Materials Handling Ltd, the UK arm of Still GmbH of Hamburg, Germany, has resigned from the company, effective from February 17.

Directors Chris Booth and Frank Müller have assumed joint responsibility for managing Still UK, which employs about 6,000 people.

A company statement said Mr Stott and Still parted "by mutual consent".
